Our story
NMI Technology was started in 2010 with one goal in mind – to help small businesses compete by leveraging technology. Through working with our business clients, we quickly discovered there was a dire need for in-home support as well. We believe that technology can make everyone’s lives better when used properly, and a community of technology-users helps our local business clients thrive as well. Since our beginning in 2010, we have acquired two additional companies that solely provided in-home help with devices to help keep everyone safely connected.

Community Focus
Commitment to community runs deep at NMI Technology. Our company was founded on the idea of helping small, locally-owned and operated businesses leverage technology to achieve their business goals. We strive to help the communities we serve whenever possible.
What is it?
The Mackinac Bridge swim is about giving back to the community, supporting each other and paying it forward. The event supports primarily the Mackinaw City and St. Ignace volunteer fire departments, among other departments. In the last two years, the event has raised over $75,000 for the first responders in our community.
When is it?
On July 26, 2025 swimmers will tackle the impressive feat of swimming roughly 6 miles, under the Mackinac Bridge in the open waters of Lake Huron.
